MRS EMERICA KAREFA KARGBO (CHAIRMAN)
Emerica is distinguished by her ability to identify, develop and manage
successful businesses, mainly in Sierra Leone, Nigeria and the USA. She is
currently CEO of Shangri La Sierra Leone and co-founder of K Consulting
which operates globally. She is a driving force as an entrepreneur with key
experience of emerging markets, holding a B.A. in International Business and
Marketing from Howard University, Washington DC. She is an established Real
Estate Consultant with over 20 years experience and is a member of the
National Association of Realtors in the USA.
Emerica is the immediate, past Chairman of United Bank for Africa (UBA)
Sierra Leone where she was respected as a credible voice in decision making
and sourcing strategic partnerships. She is also on the Board of Zamarr
Institute, an educational facility for kids with learning disabilities in
Abuja, Nigeria.
As the current Chairman of the Board of Staco Insurance Sierra Leone, she
brings a wealth of experience in global marketing and driving social and
corporate entrepreneurship.
Mr Ehi
MR. EHI EGUABOR
Mr. Ehi Eguabor, a Nigerian, businessman and entrepreneur, obtained his
Higher National Diploma in Business Administration from Yaba College of
Technology and Masters of Business Administration in Banking and
International Finance from University of Calabar, Nigeria.
Mr. Eguabor started his career in the Financial Industry before moving to
the Oil and Gas sector. Between 1990 and 2003, while in the Financial
Industry, he was extensively exposed to Corporate Finance, Corporate Banking
and Financial Institutions, Credit and Marketing, fund and Portfolio
Management and Strategic Management Planning while working at various times
in First Finance and Trust Limited, Commercial Bank (Credit Lyonnais)
Limited and Access Bank, all in Nigeria.
Before establishing outturn Oil and Gas, an outfit specialising in
downstream sector of the Oil and Gas industry, which he is managing as Chief
Executive Officer since 2005, he worked at Fossil Resources International
Limited, a petroleum trading company as General Manager. At Fossil
Resources, he gained a sound understanding of the oil and gas sector, with
regards to International Trading and Shipping.
He brings to the board of STACO Insurance Company (SL) Limited, a wealth of
experience covering Marketing, Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship.
Mr Adekunle
MR. ADEKUNLE MICHAEL ADERINOLA
Mr. A. M. Aderinola, studied Insurance Management and qualified as a
Chartered Insurer in 1992 having been awarded Associateship of the Chartered
Insurance Institute, London. He holds a Masters of Business Administration,
(General Management) Degree from University of Uyo, Nigeria.
His career path cut across Insurance broking, Underwriting, Claims
Management, Marketing and Management, having worked for Femi Johnson and
Company, a reputable insurance broking firm in Nigeria, UNIC Insurance Plc
before joining STACO Insurance Plc.
Mr. A. M. Aderinola, as Claims Manager in UNIC Insurance Plc was responsible
for the claims management of highly rated companies in the real sector of
Nigeria economy, having handled claims in respect of United Nigeria Company
(UAC), Nigerian National Petroleum Corporations (NNPC), General Motors, West
African Portland Cement Company, Lever Brothers, Nigerian Breweries etc.
While handling claims, he gained sound understanding of the intricacies and
rudiments of loss adjusting. A well exposed underwriter and marketer, he
brings to the management of STACO Insurance Co. (SL) Ltd, a cognate
experience in Insurance of over 20 years.
Mr. Rowland
MR. ROWLAND WRIGHT ESQ.
Rowland is a Barrister and Solicitor and lectures Banking Law and
International Trade Law at the University of Sierra Leone. He is the founder
and managing partner of Wright & Co (Solicitors). He has over 36 years
experience as a lawyer. Spearheaded various projects for national and
international bodies in areas of privatization, acquisitions, due diligence
searches, divestiture and other finance projects. His specialism is banking,
finance and commercial law.
Rowland Wright Esq. was a consultant for the British Government's Department
for International Development (DFID), The United States of Americas Overseas
Private Investment Cooperation (OPIC), solicitor for OPIC on the restart of
the financing of the mining sector in Sierra Leone, consultant to the World
Bank on several projects including Doing Business in Sierra Leone and
Administrative Barriers to Trade in Sierra Leone and Lead Contributor to the
World Bank compendium on Doing Business in Sierra Leone. He also served as
the drafter of the proposed legislation of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants in Sierra Leone.
Rowland Wright Esq. has also been involved in various privatization projects
of parastatals in Sierra Leone including Sierra Leone Ports Authority, Rokel
Commercial Bank and Sierra Leone Electricity Corporation.
He is also the Chairman of the board of directors of a commercial bank in
Sierra Leone.
Mr. David
MR. DAVID CAREW
David is the Managing Partner of Moore Sierra Leone and also the Managing
Partner of an associate firm in Liberia Moore Monrovia. He is a leading
business consultant and has advised various businesses in his over 40 years
experience. David qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1982 and worked
with KPMG in Nigeria, Sierra Leone and The Gambia. David joined KPMG in 1979
and from 1996 to 2010 was the Senior Partner for Sierra Leone and The Gambia
with responsibility for Liberia. In 2007 David took a three-year leave of
absence to serve the Government of Sierra Leone and on his return in 2010
left KPMG and joined Leone Consultants as the Managing Partner. In 2017
Leone Consultants joined the international network of Moore Stephens
International
In his 42 years' experience in audit, consultancy and Taxation he has
managed the professionals who provide the professional services.
In the three years he served the Government of Sierra Leone, David was the
Minister of Finance in Sierra Leone from 2007 to 2009 and from February 2009
to December 2010 as the Minister of Trade and Industry.
David is a Board member of a number of businesses in the Financial Services,
Hospitality, Food and Drinks and the Education sectors. David is also
presently the Pro Chancellor of the Njala University..
MR. TARICA MPINGA
Tarica Mpinga is the founding member of Righini Limited, an advisory and
investment firm, founded in 2016 with investment in mining, oil and gas and
insurance. Prior to Righini, Tarica spent 10 years at the London office of
Canaccord Genuity focusing on originating, structuring and executing
transactions in Africa in the energy and natural resources sector. The
footprints of the transactions he put together span from West Africa (Ghana,
Nigeria, Guinea and Senegal), to Central (CAR, DRC, Congo B) and Southern
Africa (Zambia, South Africa, Botswana). Before he joined Canaccord Genuity,
Tarica worked for Bank of Montreal's Investment and Corporate Banking Group
(BMO Capital Market) in Toronto for 8 years.
Tarica has successfully originated, negotiated and executed transactions of
over US$10 billion in the natural resource sector. He has advised on several
major transactions in the oil and gas sector in the Gulf of Guinea and on
mining deals in Southern Africa. Some of the deals he advised on became
industry game changers.
Tarica was born and raised in Kinshasa, Congo DRC and has a BSc in Economics
and International Trade from the Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC -Montreal)
and a MSc in Management from the University of Sherbrooke.

Mr. Jide Omotere
Mr. Jide Omotere holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from Ondo
State Polytechnic Owo in 1989, a Master's degree in Business Administration
from University of Ado-Ekiti, in 2001 and a Master of Science (Finance) from
Lagos State University in 2004. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of Nigeria, an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of
Taxation of Nigeria and an alumnus of Lagos Business School, now Pan Africa
University.
Mr. Omotere started his career in professional practice with Anthony
Chikwendu Chartered Accountants between 1989 -1990; worked with Omni
Investments Ltd from 1991-1992; Trident Finance & Securities ltd 1992 -1995;
Regency Assurance Plc as head of Finance & Accounts between 1995- 2002;
Royal Trust Assurance Ltd as Head, Finance & Corporate Services until he
joined Crusader Insurance Plc (which later merged with Custodian and Allied
Insurance Plc) in 2007 as Group Head of Enterprise Management. He resigned
in October 2013 from Custodian and Allied Insurance into Professional
practice between 2014 and 2018 before he joined Staco Insurance Plc as Chief
Finance Officer in September 2018 with his wealth of experience in Finance,
Human Capital and General Administration within Insurance industry over the
last three decades.

GERSHON S. ALLEN -HEAD ACCOUNT DEPARTMENT
Mr. Allen obtained his diploma in accounting at the Institute of Public
Administration and Management (IPAM). He has attended several accounting
courses both locally and internationally.
He has versatile knowledge In the field of accounting, having worked for the
Sierra Leone Telecommunications Company for 19 years and had serve in
various capacity within the accounts department before being promoted as
Financial and Treasury Accountant where he served for more than 4 years
before joining STACO insurance.
Mr. Allen has wealth of experience in accounting as he has joined the
management team to add value to the business.
Mrs Kosnatu
MRS KOSNATU LAMIN KAMARA (HEAD TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT)
Mrs Lamin kamara obtained a Degree in Human Resource Management from the
Institute of Administration Management and Technology (IAMTECH) affiliated
to Njala University in 2010, and a Diploma in Insurance from Milton Margai
College of Education and Technology (MMCET) Godrich Campus, Freetown in
2007.
Before joining STACO Insurance Company (SL) Limited, Mrs.Kosnatu Lamin
Kamara had worked with International Insurance Company (SL) Limited for
about 4years as an Underwriting Executive. She started her insurance career
with Sierra Leone Insurance Company Limited (SLICO).
She has attended several insurance courses both locally and internationally,
including courses organised by Continental Re, Waica Re and Africa Re. She
is a holder of West African Insurance Institute's Middle Management Diploma.
Miss Fredella
MISS FREDELLA COKER (HEAD LIFE AND MEDICAL DEPARTMENT ACCOUNT)
Qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2016 and also holds a degree in
Applied Accounting from the Institute of Public Administration and
Management (IPAM), University of Sierra Leone.
She became a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sierra Leone (ICASL) in 2017
and 2018 respectively.
Miss Fredella Coker has over seven (7) years of relevant work experience in
different industries. She gained professional accounting experience from
KPMG Sierra Leone for three years where she was a Senior Associate in the
Advisory Department. As part of her experience in KPMG Sierra Leone, she was
team member for various assignments including Forensic Investigations,
Accounting Package installation and training (mainly SunSystems Accounting
Package) among others. Her main task was the preparation of Financial
Statements for various industries. She has also worked in the Insurance,
Mining and Wholesale Industries.
She has attended several local courses and Continuous Professional
Development Courses organized by KPMG and ICASL.

MRS. JOYCIE HAMILTON-MACAULEY (HEAD LIFE AND MEDICAL DEPARTMENT)
Mrs. Hamilton-Macauley is the Head of Underwriting of the Life and Medical
Department. Before joining STACO Insurance Company (SL) Limited, Mrs.
Hamilton-Macauley worked with Sierra Leone Insurance Company (SL) Limited (SLICO)
for Three (3) years as an Underwriting Executive where she started her
insurance career. She joined STACO Insurance Company (SL) Limited in
October, 2012.
She holds Honours Degree in Business Administration from the Institute of
Public Administration and Management (IPAM), University of Sierra Leone from
2008.
Over the years, she has attended several insurance training courses both
locally and internationally, organised by renounced Reinsurance companies
such as Continental Re and Africa Re. In 2014, she became a holder of West
African Insurance Institute's Insurance Foundation certificate. And in 2019
attended the West African Insurance Institute in the Gambia and holds a
Diploma in Insurance for middle level managers and was chosen as the
valedictorian.
Ms. Musu
MS. MUSU VERONICA SHARKA (MARKETING MANAGER)
Ms. Musu Veronica Sharka is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of
London. She is a holder of West African Insurance institute's Insurance
Foundation certificate and Diploma. .
She holds a Degree in Business Administration, specializing in Human
Resource Management with Honours from the Institute of Public Administration
and Management (IPAM), University of Sierra Leone in 2019, and a Diploma in
Population Studies from Milton Margai College of Education and Technology (MMCET)
Goderich campus, Freetown in 2008.
Ms. Musu Veronica Sharka is one of the pioneer staff of Staco Insurance
Company (SL) Ltd as she had worked in the Marketing Department for over
twelve years.
She had attended several insurance courses both locally and internationally,
including courses organized by Africa Re, Continental Re, Waica Re etc.
Mr. Bolaji
MR. BOLAJI LADEJOBI (HEAD OF REINSURANCE AND CLAIM)
Bolaji Ladejobi obtained his B.Sc. degree in Insurance from Lagos State
University, Nigeria, he is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute
of Nigeria and has working experience crossing over a decade. He worked with
the Staco Insurance Plc Nigeria and left as an Assistant Manager.
He joined Staco Insurance Company (SL) Limited as Head of Reinsurance and
claim.
Mr. Mustapha
MUSTAPHA ISHOLA KOLAWOLE (SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR)
Mustapha Ishola obtained his first degree in Accounting from the University
of Lagos, Nigeria. He also obtained a combined degree in Economics and
Banking & Finance from the International Open University. Prior to these
qualifications, Mustapha had a National Diploma in Science Laboratory
Technology from Lagos State Polytechnic.
Mustapha is a holder of CTP (Certified Takaful Insurance Professional) and
CMM (Certified Microfinance Manager) awarded by the Centre of Economics and
Banking (CIBE) based in Dubai, UAE. He is currently working towards
obtaining another professional qualification - Certified Internal Auditor
(CIA) from the global Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
After over fifteen years of working, Mustapha was employed by Staco
Insurance Plc, Nigeria. He was later seconded to Staco's subsidiary company
in Freetown, Sierra Leone where he is currently serving as the company
internal auditor. Prior to his employment, he has served as administrative
officer and later as deputy registrar at Student Pye Nigeria Limited.
Mustapha also worked as administrative officer at his Alma Mater, the
University of Lagos, Nigeria. He worked in the finance department of Osun
State Polytechnic, Iree, Nigeria after working as Accounts teacher at
Bedrock College in Lagos. After this period, Mustapha served at Murhi
International Group both as Accountant and as Head of Internal Control unit.
Mustapha has many years of experience in finance, accounting, risk
management, corporate governance, business ethics and strategy. He has added
landmark values to various organizations where he has served.
